Research#01/What is advertising?

After the first tutorial of week 1, I got more information and knowledge of advertising industry. About the structure of Advertising Agency, how they work, and the main part is how can we be more professional. During tutorial, we have watch a few funny video which showing how's the client look :)

After posting lots of Ads, it's time to post my individual process:

#01_what is advertising?
"Advertising is a form of communication that typically attempts to persuade potential customers to purchase or to consume more of a particular brand of product or service. Many advertisements are designed to generate increased consumption of those products and services through the creation and reinforcement of "brand image" and "brand loyalty". For these purposes, advertisements sometimes embed their persuasive message with factual information."__wikipedia.

In fact, advertisement is one of the elements of creating a complete brand image. Some cooperations' impressive image even created by the outstanding advertisements. For example, the local supermarkets such as Wellcome or ParknShop, their TV ads always tell audience that how valuable of their product price are. Sometime, the power of advertising promotion can be greater than the branding itself.

Advertising can be appear in many different media nowadays, "including television, radio, cinema, magazines, newspapers, video games, the internet and billboards."__wikipedia. And the advertising agency still finding others media to promote the advertisement like the outdoor large scale projection on building (I have post the video before). So, we can see how the advertisement get into and "stick" with us :)
